Tecate 00 beer can

Tecate beer, a renowned Mexican lager, traces its origins back to 1944 when it was first crafted in the town of Tecate, Baja California, Mexico. This delightful brew is skillfully produced by Cervecería Cuauhtémoc Moctezuma, S.A. de C.V., a subsidiary of Heineken International.

Distinguished by its crisp malt flavor and pleasing aftertaste, Tecate beer has become a beloved choice, often savored with a hint of lime and salt. As a testament to its immense popularity, Tecate beer enjoys a prominent position among the most favored beers in both Mexico and the United States, particularly resonating with the Hispanic community.

The goal

Heineken presented us with their latest and most confidential creation – Tecate 00. As the launch date rapidly approached, our mission entailed creating a captivating collection of still photographs and videos to unveil this alcohol-free rendition of the esteemed Tecate and Tecate Light brands.

Photographer Andres Solis drew inspiration from a laid-back visual trend in photography and put forth an intriguing idea: crafting a collection of images that exuded a casual vibe, deviating from the conventional advertising norms. Rather than featuring meticulously lit products and models in a studio setting, he envisioned a more relaxed approach, with a hint of the spontaneous charm found in flash-based photography.
