Charlie’s Gay NASA Wallpaper from Heartstopper

Like many of you, I’ve become obsessed with the Heartstopper book series. If you didn’t know or were not aware of, in the books, Charlie’s Gay NASA Wallpaper looks way different than it does in the Netflix Series.

In the Netflix show, Charlie’s wallpaper has a flat peach-colored background with text that reads: “[gay panic]” and a flat white shadow.

But in Alice Oseman’s books, Charlie’s wallpaper is a parody of NASA’s logo that reads “GAY,” instead of the agency’s acronym.

Having said that, I took inspiration from the book’s wallpaper and decided to make my own version. And instead of stopping at a gay NASA wallpaper, I decided to include a few more sexualities from the LGBTQ+ community.

The included sexualities are: Asexual, Bisexual, Gay, Lesbian and Trans. I also included versions for Pride and Allies of the community.

And the coolest part (if I do say so myself) is that the colors from the stars from each wallpaper correspond to the colors of the flag of that sexuality, so colors change depending on the wallpaper you choose. Isn’t that cool?

Hope you like them!

Like always, until next time,
